Lisa Martini-Dunk
About the Artist:
Born in Edmonton, Alberta, and practicing in Peterborough, Ontario, Lisa Martini-Dunk is a formally trained fine artist and graphic designer who studied art at the University of Guelph and Georgian College.
Stories were always a part of her life, whether myths told by her grandmother or fairy tale books given to her father. Lisa creates her visions by using mediums such as printmaking, scratchboard, and acrylic painting. Vitality, nature and words inspire her. The need to describe the essence of life moves her to create. The need to show the world in a more whimsical way is her vision. Lisa has recently been accepted into the Ontario Society of Artists.

Anne Cavanagh
About the Artist:
Anne Cavanagh studied visual art in the United States, France, and England. At the post secondary level, she combined her love of art and science, obtaining a Bachelor of Art with a concentration in Pre-Medical Illustration. Cavanagh has participated in many exhibits across North America, including the Art Gallery of Peterborough.
“I push the boundaries of classical drawing into the realm of contemporary fine art. Using gesture, I capture the energy of my natural surroundings. I often use my body movement to express my ideas but, instead of performance, my choice medium for expression is still images in charcoal, graphite, and paint.” – Anne Cavanagh
