Summer Art Camp – Pottery Camp July 31-Aug 4

Young artists will enjoy participating in an exciting week of creativity in the pottery studio. Learn how to create a masterpiece out of a lump of clay on one of our many Shimpo Potter’s Wheels. Techniques on centering, forming a base, raising and thinning walls are just some of the interesting things they will learn at pottery camp.

Extended After hours care available for $10 per day (8:00am – 5:15pm)

Young artists will enjoy participating in an exciting week of creativity in the pottery studio. Learn how to create a masterpiece out of a lump of clay on one of our many Shimpo Potter’s Wheels. Techniques on centering, forming a base, raising and thinning walls are just some of the interesting things they will learn at pottery camp. Handbuilding with clay will also be taught through fun and interesting projects. While a majority of their time will be spent with clay children will also be exposed to other activities including drawing and painting and mixed media.

This camp is highly recommended and space is limited so register early.

Please bring a lunch, water bottle, sun screen, hat and a change of clothes and be most of all be prepared to get messy!
