Pottery Workshop: Plates and Platters

March 19, 2023

1:00 pm to 3:30 pm

This workshop will introduce you to creating a wide plate / platter shape on the potter’s wheel. Learn the techniques and tricks in creating a successful low profile plate. There will be $40 material fee to cover the cost of materials firing and glazing. You will return Sunday March 26 from 1-2:30pm to learn the glazing process and finish your pieces. Only 2 plates /platters will be fired for each participant. Participants will be required to pick their 2 best pieces to be fired and finished. Participants will be working solely on the potters wheel to create these plates and platters.

Early Registration is required to ensure enrolment. Low enrolment may lead to workshop being cancelled.
