Come enjoy a variety of Drawing mediums at The Art School of Peterborough. Be introduced to different techniques and ideas that will broaden their knowledge towards making art. This fun filled class is geared to ages 10-18 who enjoy creating. All projects will allow students to stretch their imagination beyond their normal limitations. Be a part of this fun creative group. This year we are asking students to bring their own pencil cases with general supplies: pencils/ or pencil set, white eraser, scissors and ruler along with a sketchbook. Additional supplies will be noted in the outline if needed.

Teen Drawing Only Outline

• Scaling a drawing
• Shading (finding form) apples
• Eyes shape (shading Plane shift drawing-shading techs)
• Continuous line drawings/blind contours
• Blocking in shapes (oil pastel on black)
• Grey scale to colour (spoons)
• Ink drawings (light & dark values)
• Still life (conte+charcoal) 
• Mark making/abstraction (perspective)
• Expressive/gesture drawing (mm) 
• Self portrait
