Fall Term: Printmaking Class (Aft)

This course is designed as a basic intro to printmaking techniques.

The art of intaglio printing and relief printing. Participants will work with copper plates and acid-resistant grounds to create an image with texture and lines. Woodcuts (relief printmaking) Using hand carving tools, students will learn to transfer an image to a wood block, and carve their designs using a wide variety of marks. Participants will come away with their own edition of prints.

Suitable for all levels, no prior experience needed.
