The Art School of Peterborough is a not-for-profit organization that is dedicated to fostering growth of creativity and skills in visual art forms for everyone. Serving the Peterborough City and County, it offers a variety of art classes for all ages.
The Art School of Peterborough is pleased to announce its 22nd Annual Art Auction, to be held at Princess Garden’s spacious Atrium on April 14th, 2018. This innovative 8700 sq ft indoor park will host our Annual Auction: CIRQ to raise funds to support the Art School Programming and ensure an all-inclusive environment for the community. Our fundraising efforts help to provide programming to enrich lives of individuals with financial restraints, provide art supplies for our youth programs, and ensure the quality of our instruction. Fundraising is absolutely necessary for the school to continue its programming for the community. The generous donations of local businesses are paramount to ensure the future of The Art School of Peterborough.
The Art School of Peterborough is proud to have over 30 local and nation wide artists supporting its cause in its live auction by Keith Monk. Live auction consists of artwork by: Brian Atyeo, Christine Baayen, David Baker, Debra Bannister, Audrey Bain, Peter Barron, Alex Bierk, Pan Buckler, Suzanne Burden, Anne Cavanagh, Nancy R. Chalut, John Climenhage, Kristin Drummond, Richard Hayman, Roz Hermant, Jose Miguel Hernandez Autorino, David Hickey, Lucky Jackson, Dwayne James, Jenni Johnston, George Kovacs, Bill Lockington, Sandy MacFarlane, Lucy Manley, Lisa Martini-Dunk, Doug Mays, Paul Nabuurs, Rob Niezen, Micky Renders, Bronson Smith, Stephen Snider, Sharon Taylor, Susan Taylor-Stevenson, Victoria Wallace, Megan Ward, Marcia Watt, Gail West.
Doors open at 6 p.m. Silent Auction will begin at 6:30 pm with items consisting of artworks, local gift certificates, and misc. items. 4X4” mini canvases and 4”X 8” canvases have also been painted by local artists and will be on sale during the event for $20 each (4”x4”) and $40 each (4x”8”).
Experience an evening of uplifting art with pop up entertainment from the Peterborough Academy of Circus Arts, and a live auction with original works from local artists.
Silent auction: 6:30 - 8:00 pm
Live auction: 8:30 - 10:00 pm with Keith Monk auctioneer
Hors d’oeuvres and refreshments from local restaurants
Advance tickets $15; $20 at the door – members $10
