The Art School of Peterborough is a not-for-profit organization that is dedicated to fostering growth of creativity and skills in visual art forms for everyone.  Serving the Peterborough City and County, it offers a variety of art classes for all ages.

The Art School of Peterborough is pleased to announce its 21st Annual Art Auction, to be held at Princess Garden’s spacious Atrium on April 8th, 2017. This innovative 8700 sq ft indoor park will host our Annual Auction: The Artist's Garden to raise funds to support the Art School Programming and ensure an all-inclusive environment for the community. Our fundraising efforts help to provide programming to enrich lives of individuals with financial restraints, provide art supplies for our youth programs, and ensure the quality of our instruction. Fundraising is absolutely necessary for the school to continue its programming for the community. The generous donations of local businesses are paramount to ensure the future of The Art School of Peterborough.

The Art School of Peterborough is proud to have local and nation wide artists supporting its cause in its live auction by Keith Monk. Live auction consists of artwork by: Anne Cavanagh, Anne-marie Kornachuk,  Art Cunanan, Bernie Mitchell, Bill Lockington, Brian Atyeo, Brianna Gosselin, Bronson Smith, David Baker, David Hickey, George Kovac, Jenni Johnston, John Climenhage, Lisa Martini-Dunk, Lucy Manley, Marcia Watt, Jose Miguel Hernandez Autorino, Nancy Chalut, Olga Szaranski, Pam Buckler, Paul Nabuurs, Richard Hayman, Rob Niezen, Roz Hermant, Sandy MacFarlane, Sharon Taylor, Stephen Snider.

Silent Auction will begin at 6:30 pm with items consisting of artworks, local gift certificates, and misc. items. 4" X 4” mini canvases and 4” X 12” canvases have also been painted by local artists and will be on sale during the event for $20 each (4” x 4”) and $40 each (4" x 12”).

Doors open: 6 pm
Viewing of live and silent auction items: 6 - 8 pm
Minis Sale – $20 (4x4) and $40 (4x12): 6:30 pm
Live music by Ron Marenger Big Band 7 - 8 pm
Live auction : 8:30 - 10:00 pm with Keith Monk auctioneer
Hors dʼ oeuvres and refreshments from local restaurants
Advance tickets $8; $10 at the door – members free
